Retail Roofing Done the Savage Way!
Challenge
Mrs. Notto noticed our recent builds in the neighborhood and had also spoken with Mr. Danny Savage previously, so she reached out for an estimate for a retail roof and gutter replacement. Their existing roof had two layers of shingles—the first layer from 2005 and a second from 1999—and were experiencing leaks in two areas at the rear of the home. With multiple layers, aged materials, and active leaks, this project posed a challenge: determine the best approach for a long-term, reliable solution that would protect the home and provide lasting peace of mind.
Solution
To address the Notto's aging roof, two layers of shingles, and active leaks, we installed the Savage Core Roofing System for long-lasting durability and peace of mind. The project included 6" gutters with oversized downspouts and extensions to ensure optimal water management, as well as fascia on the eaves and gables for added structural support and a polished finish. We also installed roof-to-wall flashing, carefully cutting around the cedar to create a complete watertight seal. This comprehensive approach not only resolved the existing leaks but also upgraded the home’s protection and curb appeal, giving the homeowner confidence that their roof will stand strong for years to come.
